February Meditation 2025

Subject: Finding Strength in Small Beginnings – February 2025
Dear Friends,
As we step into February, allow me to put out this reminder: even the smallest acts of
faith and love can have a lasting impact. Though we may be a small church, we serve
a big God who works through us in ways we can’t always see. What Can a Small
Church Do? Mmm, where shall I begin:
Pray with Expectation — The early church in Acts wasn’t defined by numbers but
by faith and prayer. This month, let’s commit to praying intentionally—for each
other, for our community, and for those who don’t yet know Christ loves them.
Love Like Jesus — In a world filled with busyness and division, a simple act of
kindness can be life-changing. Write a note of encouragement, make a phone
call, or check in on a neighbor. Love is our greatest testimony to the community.
Strengthen Fellowship — Whether through small gatherings, or sharing a simple
meal, relationships strengthen the body of Christ. Take time this month to
connect with someone in our church family.
Serve Where We Are — We may not have large resources, but we have willing
hearts. Consider volunteering a few hours at Habitat for Humanity, supporting St
Helens’ food pantries, or finding small ways to bless others with what we have
(time or talent or resources).
Trust God’s Plan — Growth isn’t always about numbers—it’s about deepening our
faith and spreading Christ’s love. Let’s remain faithful in the work Jesus has given
us, trusting that God will bring the change for which we pray and work.
As we continue this faith journey together, remember: God delights in using small
things for His glory (1 Cor 1:27). You are valued, loved, and called for a purpose. Let’s
press on in faith, knowing that Jesus is with us every step of the way.
In the grip of Grace,
Pastor Peter
