Through the rest of 2020, the sermons will follow the New Testament letters known as the Epistle readings (1 Cor. below). So not the Old Testament nor the Gospel readings. Later as we near Christmas Day we will explore the stories of some Angels found in the Bible, in other places than the birth of Christ.

Scripture: 2 Peter 3:8-15
Sermon: “Judging the Thieves and the Angels”
Themes: 2 Peter says that God’s day of judgment comes like a thief.
The connection between patience and judgment.
2 Peter also talks about judgment for even the angels who sin. (2:4)
(The week after Christmas I look at angels, so this anticipates)
