Bible Study Group will meet on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m.  October 22 – November 12 at the church Library.  Bring your Lunch.

An Advent book study is being prepared for us! Holy Disruption: Discovering Advent in the Gospel of Mark, by Tracy Daub, will give us some new ways to think about the birth of the Christ child. Do you remember the birth story in Mark’s Gospel? Likely not – because there isn’t one! And yet, our author says, the story is throughout this Gospel.

We hope you will come to study with us. We will meet Wednesday mornings beginning October 22 through November 12. Bring your lunch; we will meet from 11:30 until 1:00 – except on the day that Session meets: we will finish at 12:45, so Session members can take a deep breath before their meeting begins!

The class will be led alternately by Pastor Peter and by Pastor Pat – both of whom hope to see as many of you there as possible. The book is available through the PCUSA store and from Amazon.
